Self-Serve SSO Signup, No More Manual Provisioning Tickets

Up until this release, getting a new vendor contact onto Sarthi HR meant filing a provisioning ticket with us and waiting for an account to be manually created on your behalf. That's gone now.

Any vendor or contractor can sign up directly with their work email and get instant SSO access — no waiting on an admin, no manual account creation. We verify company affiliation asynchronously after signup, the same way most lightweight B2B tools do, so you're never blocked waiting for a provisioning queue.

Under the hood this is backed by our SAML 2.0 identity provider, the same SSO layer every Sarthi HR vendor account authenticates through — the same identity layer our employee-facing HR console links out to.

Why We Moved Authentication to a Dedicated Identity Provider

As we've grown past a handful of pilot customers, we moved session management off our application server and onto a dedicated SAML identity provider. This gives us centralized session policy, audit logging, and a clean separation between "who you are" and "what you can see" — the application only ever trusts the signed assertion it gets back.
